An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Nagoya. First ranked FE Nagoya faced second-best Nishinomiya S.. Host FE Nagoya (18-3) defeated guests from Hyogo (12-9) 79-65. The best player for the winners was American forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import center Brian Qvale (208-88, college: Montana) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Four FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American Shaquille Hines (203-93, college: UTRGV) who recorded 19 points and 8 rebounds and Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-87, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. FE Nagoya have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 18-3 record. Nishinomiya S. at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost. They share it with Yamagata.
