Another exciting game for Alaska Aces which played in Manila against SM Beermen. Alaska Aces won 99-94. Alaska Aces players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Nigerian-Canadian Olu Ashaolu (200-88, college: Oregon) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Maverick Ahanmisi (188-91, college: Minnesota) chipped in 9 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. American Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CSUSB) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and center June Mar Fajardo (210-89) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
