We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Seoul where 9th ranked LG Sakers (6-12) were edged by tenth ranked Samsung Th. (6-11) 67-65 on Sunday. Nigerian forward Daniel Ochefu (211-93, college: Villanova) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Min-Gug Jang (199-89) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-92, college: MSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and center Seo-Min Su (197-93) scored 16 points. LG Sakers' coach Sung-won Cho rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Samsung Th. moved-up to ninth place. Loser LG Sakers dropped to the bottom position with 12 games lost. Samsung Th. will meet at home higher ranked DB Promy (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. LG Sakers will play against Goyang Orions in Daegu and hope to secure a win.
