Regular Season Round 18: Kagawa FA - FE Nagoya 68-95

There was a minor upset in Takamatsu where their close opponent Kagawa FA (12-7) was crushed by first ranked FE Nagoya (16-3) 95-68 on Friday. FE Nagoya made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international Luke Evans (203-91, college: CBU) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Australian forward Rhys Vague (206-96) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. FE Nagoya have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-3 record which they share with defeated Kagawa FA. Kagawa FA lost fourth consecutive game. They still keep top place with seven games lost. They share the position with Sendai 89ers and Nishinomiya S.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
