Regular Season Round 18: Kagawa FA - FE Nagoya 64-98

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Kagawa FA (12-7) in Takamatsu on Thursday night. Hosts were rolled over by FE Nagoya (16-3) 98-64. FE Nagoya dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Kagawa FA's 16. FE Nagoya forced 21 Kagawa FA turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The other American import forward Jeremy Jones (201-96, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Five FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) who recorded 18 points and 6 rebounds and Australian forward Rhys Vague (206-96) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. FE Nagoya have a solid three-game winning streak.
