Regular Season Round 16: Bambitious N. - Aomori W. 82-67

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when seventh ranked Bambitious N. (5-11) won against 6th ranked Aomori W. (1-15) in Nara 82-67 on Saturday. Bambitious N. looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Aomori W.'s players. The winners were led by American Greg Mangano (208-89, college: Yale) who scored that evening 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Spanish center David Doblas (208-81) supported him with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Bambitious N.'s coach Fernando Calero allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds by Jamaican-British center Ryan Richards (212-91) did not help to save the game for Aomori W.. Canadian center Renaldo Dixon (206-90, college: NM State) added 12 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for lost side. Bambitious N. maintains seventh position with 5-11 record. Aomori W. lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Tokyo Z. Bambitious N. will again meet at home higher ranked Aomori W. (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Aomori W. will have a break next round.
