Regular Season Round 12: Koshigaya A. - Tokyo Z 91-80

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Tokyo: Koshigaya A. (#2) and Tokyo Z (#7). Koshigaya A. (10-3) won against visiting Tokyo Z (0-13) 91-80. Koshigaya A. players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: App State) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds (perfect from the field making all twelve shots !!!). The other American import Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Koshigaya A.'s coach Sho Higashijima used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Haitian forward Marc-Eddy Norelia (203-93, college: FGCU, agency: Duran International) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and American center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Tokyo Z. Four Koshigaya A. and five Tokyo Z players scored in double figures. Koshigaya A. have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-3 record behind leader Kagawa FA. Tokyo Z at the other side still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Koshigaya A.'s supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tokyo Tokyo Z.
