Barsy Atyrau outrebounded Tobol 35-24 including 23 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for Belarusian point guard Andrey Rogozenko (183-97) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Jordan Watson (188-95, college: West Liberty, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Watson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. International forward Anton Bykov (200-89) answered with 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and international point guard Shaim Kuanov (181-91) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Tobol. Four Barsy Atyrau and five Tobol players scored in double figures. Tobol's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Barsy Atyrau have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 6-3 record having just three point less than leader Astana. Tobol at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Barsy Atyrau will again play against Tobol (#3) in Kostanay in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tobol will have a break next round.
