No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Rafsanjan (3-0) edged at home 5th ranked Exxon SC (2-5) 76-73 on Thursday. Rafsanjan made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Rafsanjan outrebounded Exxon SC 42-30 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by Yaghoub Shalooshi who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Vahid Eslami (197) supported him with 17 points and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds by forward Amirhossein Rezaeifar (196-0) did not help to save the game for Exxon SC. Guard Behshad Arabzadeh (195-0) added 13 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Exxon SC's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Rafsanjan have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 3-0 record having five points less than leader Gorgan.
