Regular Season Round 12: Hitachi SRT - Ibaraki R. 84-82

Tenth-ranked Ibaraki R. (2-10) gave a tough game to second ranked Hitachi SRT (9-3) in Tokyo on Wednesday. Hitachi SRT managed to secure only two-point victory 84-82. However their fans expected much easier game. Hitachi SRT looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian-Italian power forward Marc Trasolini (206-90, college: Santa Clara) who recorded 22 points and 9 rebounds and American Eric Jacobsen (208-94, college: Arizona St.) added 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Four Ibaraki R. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Hitachi SRT have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Ibaraki R. keeps the tenth place with ten games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
