Regular Season Round 12: Kawasaki BT - Niigata A. 82-81

Very predictable result in Kanagawa where third ranked Kawasaki BT (9-3) edged 11th ranked Niigata A. (2-10) 82-81 on Wednesday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Kawasaki BT looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international point guard Ryusei Shinoyama (178-88) chipped in 8 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) who recorded 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and American forward Jeff Ayres (206-87, college: Arizona St.) added 17 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Kawasaki BT have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams.
