Regular Season Round 10: Bambitious N. - Yamagata 65-67

The most exciting game of round 10 in the B2 League took place in Nara. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Bambitious N. (3-7) to fourth ranked Yamagata (7-3) 67-65 on Sunday evening. Yamagata looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jawad Williams (204-83, college: UNC) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Yoshifumi Nakajima (176-90) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Yamagata players scored in double figures. Yamagata's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Spanish center David Doblas (208-81) replied with 9 points and 13 rebounds and American Greg Mangano (208-89, college: Yale) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bambitious N.Yamagata have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Bambitious N. at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Yamagata is looking forward to face Aomori W. (#6) on the road in the next round. Bambitious N. will play against the league's leader Kagawa FA in Takamatsu and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
