The game in Inchon supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th ranked Samsung Th. (4-6) played at the court of eighth ranked KoGas (5-6). KoGas smashed Samsung Th. 86-56 on Thursday. KoGas dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Samsung Th.'s 28. They outrebounded Samsung Th. 48-27 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. KoGas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-89, college: St.Bonaventure) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and forward Dae-Heon Lee (198-92) who added 25 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Nigerian forward Daniel Ochefu (211-93, college: Villanova) responded with 11 points and 7 rebounds and American center Isaiah Hicks (206-94, college: UNC) scored 11 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KoGas moved-up to sixth place. Loser Samsung Th. dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Mobis Phoebus. KoGas will meet higher ranked DB Promy (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Samsung Th. will play against Mobis Phoebus (#9) in Ulsan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
