No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Aviators (5-2) crushed 18th ranked Blue Whales (1-6) in Shenzhen 126-107 on Sunday. Aviators dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Blue Whales' 46 and made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Aviators forced 25 Blue Whales turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The winners were led by American guard Askia Booker (186-93, college: Colorado) who scored that evening 18 points and 9 assists and the former international center Zijie Shen (210-97) supported him with 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Even 16 points by the former international point guard Shuo Han (196-86) did not help to save the game for Blue Whales. Chen Chen (201-85) added 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Aviators moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser Blue Whales dropped to the seventeenth position with six games lost. They share it with Jiangsu D. and Nanjing TX MK.
