The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Mahram as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Mahram defeated 3rd ranked Parsa in Tehran 71-55. 24 personal fouls committed by Parsa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Saeid Davarpanah (190-87, agency: Interperformances) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. The former international point guard Mahdi Kamrani (181-82, agency: BIG) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Morteza Taheri (189-96) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian guard Luka Andjusic (197-94, college: California, PA) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mahram have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Parsa at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost.
