Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Goyang Orions (5-3) and LG Sakers (2-6), which took place in Changwon. Higher ranked Goyang Orions lost to ninth ranked LG Sakers in a road game 66-73 on Monday. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-92, college: MSU) notched a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-91) supported him with 14 points and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) by American forward Murphy Holloway (201-90, college: Ole Miss) did not help to save the game for Goyang Orions. International center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-92) added 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory LG Sakers went down to tenth position due to points difference. Loser Goyang Orions dropped to the second place with three games lost. They share the position with KT Sonicboom and DB Promy. LG Sakers will meet at home league's leader SK Knights in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Goyang Orions will play against the league's second-placed DB Promy where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
