Regular Season Round 7: Kagoshima - Iwate 76-84

No shocking result in a game when leader Iwate (8-0) beat 5th ranked Kagoshima (4-4) in Renova 84-76 on Friday. It was a great shooting night for Iwate especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. American players dominated also this game. It was an exceptional evening for Kyle Richardson (200-91, college: Portland St.) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Terrance King (198-90, college: ESU) accounted for 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Swingman Anthony Gaines Jr (195-93, college: Louisiana Coll.) came up with 25 points and 7 rebounds and forward Christian Cunningham (201-97, college: JSU) added 18 points respectively for Kagoshima in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Iwate. They maintain first place with 8-0 record. Loser Kagoshima dropped to the eighth position with four games lost.
