Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Doha: Al Ahli and Al Sadd. Al Ahli won against visiting Al Sadd 75-70. They outrebounded Al Sadd 41-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. International forward Ndoye Seydou (205-99) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Antwaine Wiggins (203-88, college: Charleston) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Greek center Zisis Sarikopoulos (213-90, college: Ohio St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and international forward Babacar Dieng (197-97) added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Al Sadd. Five Al Sadd players scored in double figures. Al Ahli will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
