There was no surprise in Aichi where 12th ranked Toyoda (1-5) was crushed by top-ranked Nagasaki (6-0) 94-63 on Sunday. Nagasaki forced 24 Toyoda turnovers. American-Panamanian center Javier Carter (203-91, college: USA, agency: Slash Sports) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Matt Bonds (196-95, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Nagasaki players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center CJ Gettys (213-94, college: Rutgers, agency: Haylett Sports) with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import power forward Jalen Billups (200-92, college: NKU, agency: BIG) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Nagasaki have an impressive six-game winning streak.
