Regular Season Round 2: KT Sonicboom - KoGas 95-78

KoGas recorded a loss in Busan on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by KT Sonicboom 95-78. KT Sonicboom outrebounded KoGas 43-29 including 18 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-92, college: UMass, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-97) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Four KT Sonicboom players scored in double figures. Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-89, college: St.Bonaventure) produced 24 points and 5 rebounds and forward Dae-Heon Lee (198-92) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KT Sonicboom is looking forward to face Goyang Orions in Daegu in the next round. KoGas will play on the road against DB Promy in Wonju and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
