Regular Season Round 4: Fukushima - FE Nagoya 71-81

Another interesting game for FE Nagoya (3-1) which played on the court of their biggest opponent Fukushima (2-2). Third ranked FE Nagoya had an easy win 81-71. It was a key game for the second position in the league. FE Nagoya players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Fukushima was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Kaito Ishikawa (188-90) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and American forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) who added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Fukushima's coach Tomohiro Moriyama rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. FE Nagoya moved-up to second place, which they share with Fukuoka R. and Kumamoto V. Fukushima at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. FE Nagoya will play against league's leader Yamagata at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fukushima will play against the league's second-placed Fukuoka R. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
