Regular Season Round 2: Kagoshima - Nagasaki 68-91

Very expected game in Renova where Kagoshima was crushed by Nagasaki 91-68. American-Panamanian center Javier Carter (203-91, college: USA, agency: Slash Sports) notched 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and point guard Masaya Karimata (178-88) supported him with 17 points and 4 assists. Five Nagasaki players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds by American swingman Anthony Gaines Jr (195-93, college: Louisiana Coll.) did not help to save the game for Kagoshima. His fellow American import forward Kaleb Bishop (203-97, college: FDU) added 15 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nagasaki will play against Tokyo EX at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Kagoshima will play against Toyoda in Aichi to get more than just one victory in their record.
