Date: October 2, 2021
Shizuoka used a home court advantage and outplayed the opponent from Tokyo 104-79 on Saturday night. It was a great shooting night for Shizuoka especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Beninese power forward Muusa Dama (207-96, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Argentinian forward Alexis Elsener (195-88, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American power forward John Fields (205-88, college: Tennessee) came up with 25 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward Chris Washburn (203-93, college: TCU) added 7 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Tokyo HT in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Shizuoka will again meet at home Tokyo HT in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tokyo HT will have a break next round.
