Another exciting game was between Kyoto H. and Niigata A. where Kyoto H. beat Niigata A. on the road 85-81. Kyoto H. players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center David Simon (208-82, college: PFW) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Justin Harper (208-89, college: Richmond) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Filipino guard Kobe Paras (198-97, college: CSUN) added 25 points and 4 assists in the effort for Niigata A.Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Kyoto H. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Niigata A. will play again at home against Kyoto H. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
