We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Aichi where 5th ranked Iwate (26-14) was defeated by sixth ranked Toyoda Gosei (21-19) 86-79 on Sunday. Toyoda Gosei made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. American center CJ Gettys (213-94, college: Rutgers, agency: Haylett Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Point guard Ren Takemura (170-95) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists. American forward Chris Olivier (202-92, college: OK State) produced a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and Canadian forward Erik Nissen (206-95, college: Acadia) added 18 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyoda Gosei maintains sixth position with 21-19 record. Loser Iwate keeps the fifth place with 14 games lost.
