Everything went according to plan when second ranked Aisin AW (28-6) outplayed 9th ranked Kanazawa (9-27) in Ishikawa 104-83 on Sunday. Aisin AW dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Kanazawa's 32. Aisin AW forced 19 Kanazawa turnovers and outrebounded them 41-23 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kanazawa was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American Kyle Richardson (200-91, college: Portland St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import Josh Peppers (201-85, college: UCF) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Aisin AW players scored in double figures. American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) replied with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Daichi Tomioka (165-95) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Kanazawa. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aisin AW have an impressive 11-game winning streak.
