The game in Shiga was also quite interesting. Third ranked Aishin Sea Horses (33-20) played at the court of 6th ranked Shiga L-Stars (23-36). Aishin Sea Horses defeated Shiga L-Stars 82-69 on Wednesday. American guard Kyle Collinsworth (198-91, college: BYU) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and international center Avi Schafer (203-98, college: Georgia Tech) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Aishin Sea Horses players scored in double figures. American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and point guard Masaya Karimata (178-88) added 7 points respectively for Shiga L-Stars in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Aishin Sea Horses. They maintain third place with 33-20 record having eight points less than leader Tochigi B. Loser Shiga L-Stars keep the sixth position with 36 games lost.
