Regular Season Round 2: Chunghua T. - Taipower 72-69

The most exciting game of round 2 in the WSBL ended with only three-point defeat of Taipower to Chunghwa Telecom 72-69 in the game for the third place. The former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-93) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Szu-Chin Pan (170-92) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. The former international forward Xi-Ye Liu (173-91) responded with 18 points and 4 assists and center Zi-Yu Yang (180-95) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Taipower's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Chunghwa Telecom are again looking forward to face Taipower in the next round. Taipower will play against Cathay Life and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
