A very close game took place in Tokyo between Koshigaya A. and Ibaraki R.. Third ranked Koshigaya A. (35-20) got a very close home victory over second-ranked Ibaraki R. (38-15). Koshigaya A. managed to escape with a 2-point win 77-75 on Friday evening. Koshigaya A. made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Four Ibaraki R. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Koshigaya A. maintains third place with 35-20 record having six points less than leader Gunma. Loser Ibaraki R. keeps the second position with 15 games lost. Koshigaya A. will again meet at home league's second-placed Ibaraki R. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ibaraki R. will have a break next round.
