Semi-Finals Game 1: Al Nasr - Al Hilal 82-76

Al Nasr prevailed against Al Hilal to gain 1-0 lead in the series. Strangely Al Hilal outrebounded Al Nasr 46-30 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Al Hilal helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American Michael Murray (196-91, college: Coppin St.) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Khalid Abdel-Gabar (188-90, college: Windsor) contributed with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winners. International center Mohammed Alsuwailem (211-98) answered with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds (perfect from the field making all fifteen shots !!!) and American swingman Dominique Sutton (198-86, college: NCCU) added 15 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Al Hilal. Al Hilal's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
