Regular Season Round 14: Pacific Caesar - WBS 60-83

No shocking result in a game in Surabaya where fourth ranked WBS (8-7) smashed 6th ranked Pacific Caesar (1-14) 83-60 on Friday. WBS dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Pacific Caesar's 28. They outrebounded Pacific Caesar 41-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. WBS looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Pringgo Regowo (190-87) who scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Rio Disi (186-92) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Forward Ramdhan Yuwana (201-98) produced 11 points and 8 rebounds and Calvin Chrissler (175-98) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. WBS have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted WBS maintains fourth position with 8-7 record, which they share with Bima Perkasa. Pacific Caesar lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 14 games lost. WBS will face higher ranked Prawira (#3) in Bandung in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Pacific Caesar will play on the road against Bima Perkasa in Sakti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
