Regular Season Round 53: Nishinomiya S. - Bambitious N. 76-64

B2 League top team - Nishinomiya S. (35-17) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked Bambitious N. (18-32) in Hyogo 76-64. They outrebounded Bambitious N. 44-28 including 32 on the defensive glass. American forward DeQuan Jones (203-90, college: Miami, FL) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-87, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. Four Nishinomiya S. players scored in double figures. American swingman Lakeem Jackson (195-90, college: S.Carolina) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import Marcus Dove (206-85, college: OK State) added 4 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Bambitious N.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nishinomiya S. maintains first place with 35-17 record. Bambitious N. at the other side keeps the seventh position with 32 games lost. Nishinomiya S. are again looking forward to face Bambitious N. (#7) in Nara in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bambitious N. will have a break next round.
