No shocking result in a game in Medina where fifth ranked Ohod (12-5) smashed 7th ranked Al Ahly (5-13) 105-72 on Thursday. Ohod shot 66.1 percent from the field. Ohod outrebounded Al Ahly 29-18 including a 24-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American forward Cleanthony Early (203-91, college: Wichita St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws). The former international forward Nassir Abojalas (196-94) helped adding 20 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Brian Halums (196-97, college: UAFS) responded with 30 points and Lebanese guard Karam Mechref (187-92, agency: BIG) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains fifth place with 12-5 record. Al Ahly lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 13 games lost.
