Regular Season Round 2: Byblos - Homentmen 88-70

The game with biggest result difference took place in Byblos. Local Byblos beat Homentmen 88-70. Byblos players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Mohamad Skaf orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Bechara Boustany contributed with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Byblos players scored in double figures. Forward Karim Jadayel (191-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and Karl Zaloum added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Homentmen. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Byblos will play against Beirut Club on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Homentmen will play against Champville and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
