Regular Season Round 43: Samsung Th. - Goyang Orions 94-91

The most exciting game of round 43 in the KBL took place in Seoul. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Goyang Orions (27-24) to seventh ranked Samsung Th. (23-28) 94-91 on Sunday evening. Samsung Th. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Isaiah Hicks (206-94, college: UNC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Forward Jinyoung Kim (193-98) contributed with 14 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four Samsung Th. players scored in double figures. American forward Dedric Lawson (206-97, college: Kansas) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import center Devin Williams (206-94, college: WVU) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Goyang Orions. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Samsung Th. maintains seventh place with 23-28 record. Goyang Orions lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 24 games lost. Samsung Th. are looking forward to face league's leader KCC Egis in Jeonju in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Goyang Orions will have a break next round.
