Regular Season Round 14: Pauian - Taiwan Beer 60-78

SBL top team - Taiwan Beer (25-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat fifth ranked Pauian (5-22) 78-60. American forward JD Miller (203-96, college: TCU) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and the former international Po-Hsun Chou (197-91) supported him with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Even 12 points and 8 rebounds by guard Jia-Kang Li (185-98) did not help to save the game for Pauian. Center Dan Qiao (200-92) added 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for Taiwan Beer. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Taiwan Beer have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 25-1 record. Pauian lost seventh consecutive game. They stay dead last with 22 lost games. Taiwan Beer will meet Jutai Techn. (#4) in the next round. Pauian will play against Jutai Techn. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
