The game in Aomori supposed to be also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Fukushima (20-25) played at the court of 7th ranked Aomori W. (6-40). Fukushima did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 94-74 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: CPP) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 assists and Bahamas Mark StFort (200-88, college: Warner) who added 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Fukushima players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Spanish-Dominican Orlando Sanchez (206-88, college: St.John's) with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Daichi Shimoyama (181-89) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Fukushima maintains sixth position with 20-25 record. Aomori W. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 40 games lost. Fukushima will have a break next round. Aomori W. will play again at home against Fukushima (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
