The most exciting game of round 40 in the KBL took place in Inchon. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 6th ranked ET Land (24-24) to seventh ranked Samsung Th. (21-26) 91-90 on Friday evening. Samsung Th. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Isaiah Hicks (206-94, college: UNC) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. The former international forward Dongseop Lim (198-90) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Samsung Th.'s coach Sang-Min Lee used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Johnathan Motley (208-95, college: Baylor) replied with 20 points and 6 assists and his fellow American import power forward Devon Scott (206-94, college: Dayton) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for ET Land. Four Samsung Th. and five ET Land players scored in double figures. Samsung Th. maintains seventh position with 21-26 record. ET Land at the other side keeps the sixth place with 24 games lost. Samsung Th.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Seoul SK Knights.
