Important game to mention about took place in Aichi. Fifth ranked Shizuoka (10-6) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 4th placed Aisin AW (11-5) 88-86 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Aisin AW. Beninese power forward Muusa Dama (207-96, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Novar Gadson (201-89, college: Rider) accounted for 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American Kyle Richardson (200-91, college: Portland St.) came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Fujita Shunsuke (187-93) added 21 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) respectively for Aisin AW in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Shizuoka. Despite that victory Shizuoka went down to sixth position due to points difference. Aisin AW at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. Shizuoka will play against higher ranked Iwate (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aisin AW will play against Kagoshima and hopes to get back on the winning track.
