Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Surabaya: Louvre S. and Pacific Caesar. Pacific Caesar was crushed at home by 30 points 52-82 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Louvre S. dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Pacific Caesar's 18. Louvre S. forced 20 Pacific Caesar turnovers. The former international forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) nailed a double-double by scoring 31 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and point guard Kevin Poetiray (186-95) accounted for 22 points and 4 assists. Yonatan Yonatan came up with 4 points and 16 rebounds and the former international center Muhammad Wardana (195-94) added 5 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Pacific Caesar in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Louvre S. will meet at home Bima Perkasa in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pacific Caesar will play against Satya Wacana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
