Regular Season Round 45: Nishinomiya S. - Ibaraki R. 72-89

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Nishinomiya S. (28-16) in Hyogo on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Ibaraki R. (30-13) 89-72. It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of Nishinomiya S.. Ibaraki R. made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ibaraki R. moved-up to second place, which they share with Koshigaya A. Nishinomiya S. at the other side still keeps top position with 16 games lost. Ibaraki R. is looking forward to face Tokyo Z (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Nishinomiya S. will play against Rizing (#5) in Fukuoka and is hoping to win this game.
