Not a big story in a game in Okinawa where 8th ranked Yokohama BC (14-28) was defeated by first ranked Ryukyu GK (31-11) 84-72 on Sunday. Ryukyu GK made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. Ryukyu GK outrebounded Yokohama BC 45-20 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Yokohama BC was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. They maintain first position with 31-11 record, which they share with Chiba J. Loser Yokohama BC keeps the eighth place with 28 games lost. Ryukyu GK will face Dragonflies (#10) in Hiroshima in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Yokohama BC will play on the road against the league's leader Tochigi B. and hope to win that game.
