Regular Season Round 41: Ryukyu GK - Yokohama BC 92-64

B1 League top team - Ryukyu GK (30-11) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Yokohama BC (14-27) in Okinawa 92-64. Ryukyu GK players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Yokohama BC's players. American power forward Jack Cooley (206-91, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Dwayne Evans (201-92, college: St.Louis, agency: Wasserman) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. Czech Patrik Auda (204-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Robert Carter (206-94, college: Maryland) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Yokohama BC. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ryukyu GK maintains first place with 30-11 record, which they share with Chiba J. Yokohama BC at the other side keeps the eighth position with 27 games lost. Ryukyu GK's next round opponent will be again Yokohama BC (#8) at home and are hoping to win another game.
