Important game to mention about took place in Abbass. Fifth ranked Kerman (7-7) saved a 2-point derby victory on the road edging 6th ranked Bandar Abbass (5-9) 82-80 on Tuesday evening. Strangely Bandar Abbass outrebounded Kerman 50-32 including 19 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for center Mehdi Jafari (204-96) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 8 rebounds. The former international point guard Mohammad Falahat (180-91) contributed with 20 points and 7 assists for the winners. Guinean center Oumar Barry (211, college: SJSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 21 rebounds and forward Mohammad Yazdanpanah (201-95) added 16 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Bandar Abbass. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kerman moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Kouchin. Bandar Abbass at the other side keep the sixth position with nine games lost.
