Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Seoul: Samsung Th. (#7) and SK Knights (#8). Samsung Th. (19-22) smashed visiting SK Knights (17-24) by 18 points 87-69. Samsung Th. players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American guard Terrico White (196-90, college: Ole Miss, agency: Shark Sports Management) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Hyun-Soo Kim (185-90) contributed with 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American Nick Minnerath (207-88, college: Detroit) replied with 22 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-88) added 15 points and 7 assists in the effort for SK Knights. Four SK Knights players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Samsung Th. maintains seventh position with 19-22 record. SK Knights lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion keep the eighth place with 24 games lost. Samsung Th. will play against higher ranked KT Sonicboom (#5) in Busan in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. SK Knights will play at home against Goyang Orions and hope to get back on the winning track.
