Regular Season Round 19: Toyota B SR - Yamanashi QB 96-61

Rather expected game in Aichi where 6th ranked Yamanashi QB (1-18) was crushed by fourth ranked Toyota B SR (7-12) 96-61. Toyota B SR dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Yamanashi QB's 40. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a very good performance for the former international Yuki Kato (179-97) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Nanako Todo (175-0) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Five Toyota B SR players scored in double figures. Forward Aimi Wakahara (171-96) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Airi Tomita (183-97) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Yamanashi QB. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyota B SR maintains fourth place in West with 7-12 record.
