Regular Season Round 36: Yokohama BC - Shimane SM 64-74

There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Shimane Magic (13-24) beat on the road their close opponent Yokohama BC (13-24) 74-64 on Friday. Shimane Magic made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American DeMon Brooks (202-92, college: Davidson) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 8 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). The other American import forward Perrin Buford (198-94, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Czech Patrik Auda (204-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Reginald Buckner (206-91, college: Ole Miss) added 9 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Yokohama BC. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Shimane Magic moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated Yokohama BC. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
