Regular Season Round 33: LG Sakers - Goyang Orions 93-91

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Goyang Orions (21-17) against tenth ranked LG Sakers (13-26) on Tuesday night. Visiting Goyang Orions were edged by LG Sakers in a tough game in Changwon 91-93. LG Sakers players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American power forward Leon Williams (203-86, college: Ohio) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds. Filipino Kwan-Hee Lee contributed with 29 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American center Devin Williams (206-94, college: WVU) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds and the former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-90, college: BYU-Hawaii) added 20 points in the effort for Goyang Orions. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. LG Sakers maintains tenth place with 13-26 record. Goyang Orions at the other side keep the third position with 17 games lost. LG Sakers will play against league's second-placed Mobis Phoebus in Ulsan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Goyang Orions will play at home against KT Sonicboom and hope to get back on the winning track.
