The game between third ranked Goyang Orions (21-17) and ninth ranked DB Promy (14-24) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Goyang Orions were edged by DB Promy in a tough game in Wonju 72-74. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when DB Promy made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward Yante Maten (203-96, college: Georgia) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. His fellow American import forward Justin Knox (206-89, college: UNC) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Ho-Bin Han (181-91) who recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and American center Devin Williams (206-94, college: WVU) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Four Goyang Orions players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. DB Promy have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain ninth place with 14-24 record. Goyang Orions at the other side keep the third position with 17 games lost. DB Promy are looking forward to face higher ranked Anyang KGC (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
