The game in Tokyo supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Nishinomiya S. (20-15) played at the court of 8th ranked Tokyo Z (4-30). Nishinomiya S. smashed Tokyo Z 94-64 on Saturday. Nishinomiya S. dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Z's 32. They outrebounded Tokyo Z 43-29 including 19 on the offensive glass. Nishinomiya S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Matt Bonds (196-95, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-87, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Nishinomiya S. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Nigerian-American center Nnanna Egwu (211-92, college: Illinois) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Kaine Roberts (190) scored 18 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nishinomiya S. have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Sendai 89ers and Saga B. Tokyo Z lost fifteenth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with 30 games lost.
